About Dr. Coradin
Dr. David Armando Coradin is an internal medicine primary care physician and geriatric specialist who has a passion to make a difference in the lives of many. For this purpose, he has founded Coradin Health, to provide accessible and cost effective comprehensive primary care to the insured and uninsured alike seasoned with Love and Spirit.
He cares for patients with a variety of illnesses and conditions. With a subspecialty in geriatric medicine, he is not only able to treat patients with hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, and numerous common conditions but also performs comprehensive geriatric assessments, frailty evaluations, memory testing and counsels on many other common conditions of older adults. He believes older adults deserve specialized care that is both personal and evidence based, partnering with patients to achieve their desired outcome.
Before being a physician, husband, son, or father, Dr. Coradin identifies as a son of God. He understands his purpose in medicine is intricately intertwined with his greater purpose in life and refuses to conform to the status quo for himself, his patients, or healthcare in general. Dr. Coradin's practice is not confined to the boundaries of medicine but extends to the healing of the mind, soul, and spirit.
Dr. Coradin states: "growing up, I always knew I wanted to become a doctor. I saw doctors, like my father Elio, as special individuals who had the ability and knowledge to help someone's loved ones feel better when they were unwell. As I became a doctor myself, I learned that the beauty of medicine is not the treatment of disease but the building of relationships in the process of caring. I chose to specialize in internal medicine and geriatrics because it allows me the opportunity to manage a wide variety of conditions involving all of the organ systems of the body, encompassing whole health instead of partitioned health. Geriatric medicine is a pure extension of this. Just as children benefit from pediatric care, I believe older adults also benefit greatly from specialized care to deal with particular situations including falls and gait impairment, urinary problems, dizziness, memory challenges, changes in mood, polypharmacy, and even palliative and end-of-life care".
Dr. Coradin is an accomplished husband with 14 years of marriage to Angie and has two beautiful daughters Rebecca and Hannah.
